Pledge Against Sexual Harassment
I, [name] of [firm] , and member of the Johore Bar hereby pledge to:
- Create a workplace and establish a working environment free from sexual harassment of any form.
- Never tolerate any form of sexual harassment including but not limited to inappropriate behaviours such as the dissemination of crude images, jokes or sayings which may be perceived to objectify and/or degrade any persons based on their gender within the workspace.
- Establish a safe reporting culture in the workplace so as to encourage and empower employees to report any form of sexual harassment without any fear of reprisal or punishment on the claimant.
- Take seriously any report of sexual harassment by an employee and/or client and to immediately and respectfully respond to the report in a manner which maintains the dignity of both the person reporting and the victim.
- Create, maintain and actively review a Workplace Policy Against Sexual Harassment.
